Getting lost is part of the process. For a while now, I’ve spent Saturdays with @embodiology JiM (Joy in Motion). I always learn something new about strengthening the connection between my body, mind, breath.

Today’s exercise required the use of visualization; I’ve learned that visualizing specific scenarios often helps me to remember a sequence of movements. I find that if I can visualize a scenario in progress, imagining each step in vivid detail, I’m better positioned to enjoy the journey of moving instead of hyper focusing on reaching a destination.

When the “steps” don’t play out the way I’ve imagined, I’ve also learned to stay present by making space for purposeful wandering 🙂

Purposefully discovering the path that works.
